Maison Skyaasen, Bourgogne Aligoté, 2023 Swartland and fermented in stainless steelThere's a lot to be said for Aligot in Burgundy. With warming climates, it's a grape thats able to retain its acidity and keep a moderate abv at full ripeness; in short, tasty and useful! This is Joachim's second vintage making an Aligot, and it's knockout. Ripe, citrus driven fruit, with a powerful and long finish, whilst always being electric and precise. Not much is made, so it's worth snapping up a bottle whilst you can.
